JazzN Jewelry by JessiG
Original Handcrafted Jewelry and Wearable Art
Tagua nuts, also called "vegetable ivory", grow on tagua palms in the rainforests. This renewable
resource benefits the rainforests by encouraging sustainable harvesting. It is also an excellent
substitue for animal ivory. While an elephant's life is sacrificed for a one-time yield of ivory, a single
tagua palm continues to yield its "ivory" year after year.
Tagua pendant necklaces on cotton or leather cord with wood beads (originals).
I can do any animal, names, hearts, celtic knots, and other shapes, etc.
